01

Enter source counts

Add identification, removal, screening, retrieval, exclusion, and inclusion totals—or load the example.

02

Reconcile automatically

Derived stages update live and flag any inclusion total that does not reconcile.

03

Export the diagram

Download high-resolution PNG or editable SVG, then compare it with the official template.

What this tool does not do

  • This is not an official PRISMA product and does not imply PRISMA endorsement.
  • The current diagram covers the main new-review pathway, not every updated-review or multiple-report variant.
  • Count consistency does not establish that the review itself complies with PRISMA 2020.

Frequently asked questions

Is this an official PRISMA tool?

No. It is an independent helper for the main PRISMA 2020 identification-to-inclusion flow. Always compare the result with the official PRISMA statement and templates.

Why are my counts flagged?

The generator checks whether identified records minus removals equal records screened, and whether each later exclusion reconciles with the next stage.

Can I edit the downloaded diagram?

Yes. Download SVG for an editable vector file, or PNG for a high-resolution raster image. Compare either export with the official template before submission.

Need the whole manuscript checked?

Move from one submission task to a full readiness review.

Manusights reads the manuscript as a connected argument and flags the issues most likely to matter before submission.
