Best for: application-centered work where interfaces, coatings, electrodes, devices, membranes, sensors, or functional assemblies are the scientific center. A carbon material can be one essential component in a larger performance argument.

Disagreement over novelty, priority, or scope is usually not enough. Follow the decision letter and current appeals policy.
